Selected by Frank Reinelt from crosses made between E. agavoides and E. agavoides 'Prolifera', this hybrid is noted for its unusually large size, red leaf tips, and exceptional cold hardiness. Best in part sun inland or full sun near coastal areas, but will take considerable shade. Well drained

Very large --up to 14"-- echeveria with thick apple-green leaeves with red edges and margins and yellow and red flowers that appear on stalks in early summer. Selected by Frank Reinelt from crosses made between E. agavoides and E. agavoides 'Prolifera', this hybrid is noted for its unusually large size, red leaf tips, and exceptional cold hardiness. Best in part sun inland or full sun near coastal areas, but will take considerable shade. Well-drained soil. Excellent container specimen. Frost hardy to USDA zone 8 or even upper 7b.
